John Figdor is the Executive Director and Chaplain of the Humanist Connection. He is also the co-author of Atheist Mind, Humanist Heart, a book about the positive beliefs and values of the non-religious. He organizes public events and programs in Silicon Valley, offers philosophical counseling to students and community members, and coordinates and tracks community service in the secular community. Figdor and his work have been discussed in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, and the San Francisco Chronicle. He speaks regularly around the United States on humanist topics. He holds a master’s degree (MDiv) from Harvard Divinity School. He's served as a Humanist Chaplain at Harvard and Stanford.
